Week 6- Leah Provo- Matrix, Gags, and Thumbnails

Written Gags for above thumbnails:

1) Man looks up “best cats” online.

He looks for cats in a pet store, but there is a sign that says no cats in the window.

He goes into the woods.

He comes home with a bobcat.

2)    2) Man shakes hands with a therapist.

Man lies down on cliché therapist chair, talking.

Therapist writes on clipboard “coping strategies: regression.”

Monkey lying in a chair where the man was.

3)    3) Jane Goodall sitting with a clipboard in hand.

Sees gorillas sitting far away, reaches in purse next to her.

Takes out a bottle of gorilla glue, puts on ground.

Gorillas swarm her.

4)    4) Woman is overwhelmed with a messy house.

She holds an ancient book, starts reading aloud.

            A terrifying demon is summoned.

The demon does household chores for the woman (while wearing a frilly apron).

5)    5)     A petting zoo ticket booth stands among some corrals.

Man pays for a ticket at the booth.

Man queues up in line, gives ticket to staff.

Man gets on all fours to be petted on the top of his head by staff person.

Other 5 gags:

 6) Old woman wearing glasses sits inside her house at night.

She fills up bowls of food and brings it to the door.

Rattles food to call cats in (her glasses are left behind on a counter in the foreground)

A hungry racoon enters among the cats and chows down on the cat food also.

 7) Bushes rustle.

A man displays a fearful reaction.

Innocent looking bunny emerges, man sighs in relief.

Rabid bunny gnaws man's leg off.

8) Person orders a milkshake.

Cows go down a cow chute.

The chute is hooked up to a spinney carnival ride.

A milkshake is handed to a customer.

9) Aliens inside a space ship.

An alien looks at a brochure for a "galactic zoo."

They see a sign on an asteroid outside of the window saying "galactic zoo" with an arrow.

Zoom out; the arrow points towards Earth.

10) "Roommate Wanted" sign is seen by a man who is mostly out of frame.

The number is typed into a phone and dialed-- by a cat paw.

An anthropomorphic cat-man appears in the doorway of an apartment, to the shock of a human.

The cat-man curls up under a sunny window, sliding over the rent money.
